What is Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy, or Photonic Therapy (to give it its correct name), is a natural pain reliever and healing accelerator. It can be used on both animals and humans and is 100% safe.
Every cell in the body, human or animal, vibrates at a certain frequency. Healthy cells vibrate at approximately 600 nM/s. Wellbeing can be affected by low level frequencies in the body and Red Light Therapy addresses this. When tissue is damaged through illness or injury, then the vibration levels within the cells drops. Administering Red Light Therapy increases the vibration levels which in turn stimulates the mitochondria within the cells and promotes healing.
Red Light Therapy can be used to treat both physical ailments and emotional ailments in animals and humans.
For example, physical ailments I have treated include back pain, tendons, ligaments, EMS, colic, fractures, splints, laminitis, mobility issues and eczema. I have also treated animals for emotional issues including fatigue and behavioural problems.
Dependent upon the ailment being treated, I sometimes use a mixture of Red Light Therapy, essential oils and herbs.

History of Light Therapy
Light Therapy is not a recent concept, indeed it can be traced back to Ancient Egypt and Ancient Rome where they believed the sun to have healing properties. Modern light therapy was developed in the early 1900's by Niels Ryeberg Finsen, who developed the first artificial light source . In 1903 Niels Ryberg Finsen was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine for his work in treating diseases and illnesses using concentrated light radiation.
